Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including traders, portfolio managers, operations, and IT, to gather and document business requirements for capital markets initiatives.
Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and other project documentation.
Work closely with development teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
Perform gap analysis and impact assessments to evaluate proposed changes and enhancements to existing systems and processes.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements, clarify scope, and validate solutions.
Support the implementation and rollout of new systems and enhancements, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation support.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices within the capital markets domain.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CFA) preferred.
Proven experience (X+ years) as a Business Analyst in the capital markets industry, with a strong understanding of financial instruments, trading platforms, and market infrastructure.
Solid knowledge of business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and data analysis.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
