SAP ECC Consultant

1. Technical Expertise in SAP ECC

 

Experience with SAP ECC Modules: Expertise in specific SAP ECC modules like:

FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) for finance and controlling processes.

MM (Materials Management) for procurement and inventory management.

SD (Sales and Distribution) for order fulfillment and billing.

PP (Production Planning) for manufacturing processes.

HCM (Human Capital Management) for HR-related processes.

SAP Configuration and Customization: Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP ECC modules based on business requirements.

Data Migration & Integration: Familiarity with data migration (e.g., using LSMW, BAPI) and integration with other systems, including SAP and non-SAP solutions.

SAP ECC to S/4HANA Migration: Knowledge of or experience in upgrading or migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA is often highly valued, as many companies are transitioning to S/4HANA SAP ECC Roles and Responsibilities Some common roles include:

 

SAP Functional Consultant: Specializes in specific business processes (e.g., finance, logistics) and works with end-users to gather requirements, configure SAP, and optimize workflows.

SAP Technical Consultant (ABAP Developer): Focuses on the technical side of SAP ECC, developing custom programs using ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) or enhancing existing functionalities.

SAP Basis Administrator: Manages the technical infrastructure of the SAP environment, including system administration, performance tuning, and database management.

SAP Security Consultant: Responsible for managing user roles, authorizations, and system security within SAP ECC.
