Skill Need:
Data Protection & Recovery Team. Team responsible for maintaining and handling Backups of multiple LOB’s.
They manage backup and restore environment for the firm
Moving from legacy to current hardware
Building infrastructure and configurations
Setting Up backup
Will be building out a new environment – must be good with configuring storage and backup products
Should understand duplication, replication, etc – They will be using replication heavily in the project
Should be good in command line environment
Good Shell scripting/python is a big plus

• Advanced knowledge of Cohesity, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Index Engines, including command line environments. Intermediate knowledge of AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Moderate experience in scripting (shell, Perl, Python, etc.) to automate backup service requirements.
• Proficient in TCP/IP networking and firewall technology.
• Proficiency in JIRA and Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of managing projects using these tools and frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience in problem resolution within large-scale production environments.
• Experience with backup provisioning in Cohesity and Commvault.
• Experience with Catalog Migration for NetBackup
• Experience in building Infrastructure for Cohesity clusters, Commvault and Veritas NetBackup domains with storage and tape library infrastructure.
• Familiarity with storage products – EMC Data Domain, Block (SAN) and File (NAS).
• Intermediate knowledge of large-scale enterprise backup solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Visio, and other productivity tools.
• Advanced knowledge of business continuity/resiliency.
• Ability to articulate the business value and impact of technical and non-technical information and determine when to escalate issues.
• Effective production support skills, including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor communication.
• Ability to deliver project and process documentation for small to medium-scale projects and ensure compliance with structured Project Delivery Processes.
• Ensure information controls, backup, and recovery strategies are implemented across all environments.
• Strong technology background to understand change requests and recommend alternative solutions.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices.
• Experience with ITIL processes, including Incident Management and Change Management, is required.
